About Sophie
Sophie is a real sweetheart, searching for someone to devote her life to.
Sophie is about 4 years old, with a beautiful, soft blue coat that matches her gentle nature. True to her breed, Sophie forms a strong bond with her humans, and isn’t backward in letting you know when it’s time for a pat.
She is dog friendly, and would do well with another friendly, confident dog in the household. Or as a much-loved only dog so she can devote herself to making you smile.
Sophie is also good with horses and with dog-savvy children. Though not so good with cats, pocket pets or mingling with free range poultry, so not suitable for a home with these.
She will need secure fencing and gates, though is not a jumper so 5 ft is plenty.
Sophie came into rescue when a breeder was ordered by Council to reduce numbers, and had limited life experience before coming into foster care on the NSW Central Coast. So it took a while to gain her trust, and has been a journey to get her adoption-ready.
Her confidence has improved markedly since then, but she is looking for a quiet, loving home between northern Sydney and lower Hunter regions, so she can meet you several times before adoption and get to know you. Don’t be dissuaded though; once settled in she is an absolute delight and the initial patience she requires is worth it a million times over.
Are you what Sophie is dreaming of?

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
