Ok, honestly our little Beetle is a tad overweight, but has been steadily losing 100g per week and will be back in a healthy range with appropriate love and care. She is a lovely, affectionate, purr-y cat who spends most of her time gazing out the window and considering the larger problems of the planet. Being middle-aged, Beetle would ideally love a quiet home where she can continue to work on her weight and be your lounging buddy so she can lull you off to sleep with her purr.
Beetle has tested positive for Mycoplasma haemominutum DNA which means she is unable to be a blood donor. Beetle is healthy, so may be a carrier rather than affected. She is presently undergoing the recommended six week treatment with doxycycline and if she is adopted prior to the end of this course, the remaining medication will be supplied so she can continue it at her new home.
