Benji

Hi my name is Benji,

i apologise in advanced for my long personality but to understand me you need to know my story.

i came into care at the start of the year after being dumped in a after hour chute with my 5 siblings.
Another rescue took on three of my siblings and i came here with my other two siblings.
When we came in we hadn't been handled and we had been abused. we were absolutely petrified to be touched and we really didn't know what love was.
i was the worst.

i trembled and sunk to the ground, when they lifted me i urinated everywhere all over the loving person holding me,
I found a amazing foster family who has shown me love and kindness....

The first thing i learnt was my name - and boy that was exciting to finally have a name!
My foster family took me everywhere, and slowly i learnt how amazing the outside world really is.

i go to the dog park every night where i run around with all the other dogs, i go up to strangers for a pat - which was a massive milestone for me! - and the best part is everyone knows my name!

I also go down to the river where i swim and play with the other dogs of all sizes!
I absolutely LOVE other dogs!!
I love my squeaky soft toys - but of course they don't last very long!
I love to also sleep on the bed under the covers!

I am in care with other dogs - small and large,and also with a few cats who i couldn't really care less about.

My new family will need to understand i'm not going to be a perfect dog straight away.
i am still timid - i still shy away at times.
Once i am bonded with you - you will see what a amazing and cheeky boy i truly am.
I need a family that is going to include me inside and out, who is going to take me places with other dogs, and have me apart of their family.
i am also a very active boy who loves to run and play at the dog park, rivers and go for long walks.
So my new family will need to keep up with my exercise needs.

I need to be homed with another dog and no young children
