My name is Serenity, although I am anything but my names sake! I can sit quietly with my humans, however I have some energy to burn! I am still an angel of a dog, or so they say!
My foster Mum keeps saying I am a 3.5 legged dog as I came into care needing an operation to one of my back legs, but despite the injury still loveeeddddd to run and run! I have had surgery and have finished my rehabilitation. Apparently they don’t think this will ever stop me! My foster mum says its my propeller leg and I use it a little but it doesn’t give me any pain.
I am always out and about running and running. My foster Mum keeps making me go to the creek for swims to help my muscles get strong, but I love this cause I cannot get enough of the water! I love to take a running jump off the bank and splash water everywhere and sit in my foster carers lap in the water for cuddles. I also try and play fetch with my big foster brother, but he always bullies me and gets the toy! My foster Mum has this thing called a horse and I am rather fond of licking his nose through the fence, but I don’t know why she gets mad when I try to walk behind him.
Apparently I am pretty S.M.A.R.T and learn commands quickly. My foster carers have taught me to sit, shake hands, drop and wait for dinner. It takes a bit of concentration, but I really like that! I have started dog training lessons now and I am mastering it! I also have superb recall and no matter what I am doing when my foster Mum calls me I come really quickly! I walk well on a lead too. I do like to have a bit of a chat and tell you when I am not happy or if I am super excited!! My foster Mum thinks I will need a friend to keep me company though as I can get a bit upset being left alone, or at least some good entertainment.
I am so ready to go to my furever family and think that I would be the perfect addition to anyone that wants to enjoy laughing at my antics and being active and out and about with me! Adopting me would definitely make for bright happy days!
