Well hello there! I'm Meghan, but foster mum calls me Megz. You might remember when I came into care a few weeks ago - my brother and I were rescued from a rural pound and then miraculously beat parvo together! Well, now I have a clean bill of health and am getting bigger and stronger every day while I am waiting for my forever home.

When you first meet me I might seem a little shy and nervous. It takes me a little while to trust new people and new places, but once I do I am the biggest, sweetest snuggler you will ever meet.

Speaking of big, I am probably going to be a big girl, but doesn't that just mean so much more of me to love? You won't need a huge yard to be my forever family as I am pretty chilled out, but you will need a big spot on the lounge as that's my favourite place to be, right beside you.

Playing with toys is my very favourite thing to do. I have learnt how to play fetch and that the game is even more fun if I keep bringing the toy back to you! I also like playing tug, as long as when you win you throw my toy for me. But I am also happy to just sit and chew on my toys at your feet.

I have learnt how to sit when asked in foster care and will sit for my dinner. I am still practicing how to walk on a leash but I am getting better at that each day. I am still quite young and just getting the hang of toilet training but most nights I can hold on all night. Foster mum tells me I am very clever and learning fast! I would really like a family who will continue with my training so I can keep on learning how to listen to you and please you.

I enjoy the company of other dogs or having my people around with me a bit during the day. I have been living with other big dogs who have become my friends here in foster care. I have also met some cats, but even though I was being nice to them they didn't want to be my friends.
