Captain

Captain is a very sensible loyal puppy. He has been in foster care on a property which has seen him introduced to cattle, horses, sheep, chickens, several other dogs and the resident cat. Captain has taken all these things in his stride with caution and a lot of sense, showing absolutely no desire to chase or bark.

He cautious around vehicles and machinery and is more inclined to go back to his bed if he is feeling unsure or unsafe of loud noises. With some encouragement he will follow the quad bike around the farm to check stock and have a good run.

He has been fully vetted, desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and has travelled well in the car on these outings. Captain absolutely adores people and children and pretty much hangs close to his carers side around the farm and garden.

Captain is super smart and has excellent recall. Captain really wants to find his forever home as his two brothers who were in care with him have now been adopted and he will be lonely. He was 14 weeks old on 11/11 and as much as has been well socialised, he hasn’t had any formal obedience training, on lead walking or toilet training. Being a pup, he will absorb learning obedience easily with positive reinforcement.

His breeding is Staghound/Pointer/Golden Retriever (although the retriever really hasn’t had a look in) so he will be a reasonably large boy when he matures.
