About Blossum
Blossom was rescued as an abandoned cat after old owner moved out of a unit and left their cat behind. Neighbours found her scavenging for food and very thin so one of our volunteers took her in as a carer. We wondered at first whether she was pregnant even though she is not much more than a kitten herself but instead she was full of worms, so we got her microchipped, immunised and desexed. She had diarrhoea after the worming and desexing so we sent her poo to the vet to be analysed and found she had giardia as well. We have treated her for that and now at long last she is now well. She was vet checked last week and Dr Sam gave her a clean bill of health. She is a very beautiful young cat, with a very loving nature, playful, affectionate looking for a loving forever home. Being an oriental Lynx Point Tabby she can be a bit of a princess and will make sure everyone knows who is the boss.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
