About Lisa
*FOSTER WITH A VIEW TO ADOPT*
Hi there, my name is Lisa,
I am an adventurous young girl who recently landed in Melbourne by plane. I was actually a resident at the Lost Dogs' Home in Hobart where I was then transported to the Lort Smith Animal Hospital to receive a special surgery on my cruciate ligament in my hind leg.
The surgery was a success and now I am on the road to recovery. I am currently looking for a home where I can continue my room confinement and slow gentle walks - just until my next check up with the vets. Lort Smith will cover the cost and provide guidance until I get the all clear from the vets.
My ideal home is one where I can receive plenty of enrichment and mental stimulation and be the only animal of the house. I hope my handler will get me involved in obedience training and ongoing socialisation to keep my social manners up to scratch. Most importantly I am looking for a family to be a part of as I have a lot of love to give. I want my new family to to show me all that Melbourne has to offer; parks, beaches, doggy cafe culture...
If I sound like the girl for you, please contact the Adoption Hub on 9287 6426 as I'd love to meet you.
Medical notes
Recently underwent cruciate ligament surgery on hind leg. Surgery was a success and currently undergoing physio. This is the reason for foster to adopt status. Once given all clear from the vets, Lisa can be officially adopted.
