About Bastille (CaV18-387)
Well hello there!
My name is Bastille and I might be the cutest little floof out there. I've heard that lots of people love fluffy grey kittens and I'm definitely very lovable though I hope you love me for my personality not just my looks.
I was found living behind a bank in Northam. I think maybe I was trying to get a loan to buy some food, 'cos I was really skinny and hungry. That didn't go very well, but then a nice lady who worked at the bank rescued me and gave me to the lovely people at SAFE, who gave me food for free!! How great is that?
Anyway I've been staying in foster care getting fattened up and looked after very well. I was really nervous and frightened living on the streets by myself, and I am still very shy. I don't hiss at people anymore, but I might still run away from you at first. It's important that my new family is patient and understanding and gives me lots of time to settle in. I'll need my own space to begin with and you'll need to be quiet and gentle with me. Small children will be too over-whelming for me I think. I am living with lots of other cats and also some dogs though, and they are great! I would really love a home with other animals.
I would also like a home where I can live indoors-only. Living the first part of my life on the streets was really scary and now I'd like to always stay safely inside.
I'm not *quite* ready to go to my new home yet. My foster mum says I'll be ready on the 23rd of November.
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
