Gandalf

Hi, my name is Gandalf and I came to the shelter with my friend Bilbo, and we are looking for a new home. We are able to be adopted together, or can go individually (although 2 cats = double the love! Why not adopt the pair of us?!). We were surrendered to the shelter due to a change in our family member's health. I would prefer to go to a home that is quiet and calm, with a new family that can give me the time I need to settle in and come out of my shell, as I am quite startled by noises and unfamiliar people. I've predominately been an indoor cat, although I did have access to a safe balcony. A shaded cat run/enclosure would be fine and dandy for me, given my pale complexion! I'm described as slightly more shy than Bilbo, however I'm still one who loves attention, but also loves some me-time (don't we all!). I've lived with a baby and am told I'm tolerant with her. Children should allow me time to settle into my new family, and the option to choose my interactions. I'm also said to be a fan of laser toys!
