About Atlas
Atlas as we have named him is a gentle and intelligent young dog who has come into our care.
This sweet boy was brought into a rural pound in NSW and unclaimed. With no history we saw his potential and so Atlas took a long road trip to come into our care. He travelled through many country towns before hitting Sydney so we thought we would christen him “Atlas”.
Atlas is currently in care nr Penrith and has shown his gentle nature and willingness to respond to training. He is shy with our other rescue dogs but has shown no aggression. Atlas has yet to be tested with cats.
We can see Atlas being a loving companion dog for a family with dog savvy children or a couple wanting a calm gentle fur family member.
For more information on Atlas please contact Linda.
Medical notes
Atlas is desexed and C5 vaccinated. Heart worm tested negative. He has been flea treated and wormed. Atlas has been professionally groomed
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
