About Xander
Xander is a handsome boy who is looking for a new place to call home, he is a little skinny currently but with the love and care from his foster family he is slowly putting weight on. Xander is in a house with other dogs, cats and children. While he stalks the cats a bit if told to leave it he tends to leave them alone till they move again. He loves playing with other dogs and would benefit by having a buddy to play with, he will need further training as his mind goes a million miles an hour and he can loose focus quick. He is a real smooch when he slows down and gives you cuddles, if you think you have the time for this boy and are willing to put in the hard yards with training, he may very well be your next best buddy.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
