About Sharnie
Sharnie’s story❤️. A few weeks ago we were asked if we could assist her. The state trustees had taken over care of her Dads estate as he was in care and they had only just found out she was there at the house all alone and except for seeing a neighbour who gave her cat food daily she was there for 7 months!!!! So Carers Tracey and Maddy were eager to help! They drove 2 hours and waited outside her house till a lock smith arrived to let them in and she was so super happy to see them and go home in the car!!! She had spent lots of time self soothing licking etc and her nails were terribly overgrown. Her first night was a big one which included a bath to help her smell a lot better indeed!! Sharnie has been alone for too long and wants and needs a home with someone that is home all the time! Quieter home is what would suit her best as she gets nervous with too much going on. Would love to sleep on her humans bed. She is happy and sprightly for a 9 year old lass and loves her food nearly as much as she loves her humans. Gets on well with a respectful dog and good with confident cat. We urge ALL people that have pets in their lives to have a plan in place. In the words of the Locksmith . “ The outcome for Sharnie is a good one compared to others “.
