Hi I am Max, don’t I look absolutely adorable?

I am a Jack Russell -chihuahua cross ( Jack Huahua)

At first impressions, I am a bit shy and stand offish but I am a loving, cuddly, goofy, playful boy and am super smart (if I may say so myself ! )

My favourite things:
Food I like my food! Especially mince and chicken! I also love to snack on gluten free bagels. I will sit and wait for my food to be served. If it is soft food I will eat it in less than 30 seconds but if you put some crunchies in the mince or chicken I will slow down a bit.

Toys I like to play with my toys…I can entertain myself for hours throwing my toy and catching it and then throwing it again.

Walks I love long walks! I am good on the leash and can get a little excited when I see other dogs. I am very good with them, I don't bark at them I just want to say hi and smell all the dogs I see.

Cuddles I am happy when I am cuddling on my human’s lap. I am very affectionate and, if you let me, I will sleep in between your legs in the bed and next to you on the couch. I also enjoy spending time in my bed eating my lamb bone or sleeping.

Sleeping At night time, at this stage I don't like to sleep away from my human.

Dogs I may be a bit shy with people I don't know but never with dogs. I would love to go to a
Family that already has a dog to play with!

What I don't like:
When people I don’t know in the street start talking at me loudly and try to touch me too quickly. I am only little and I find it very intimidating! I will back off quickly or do a little jump and hide behind my foster mum.

I may not totally dislike cats but I don't go crazy for them either. I will get used to them and sit next to them on the couch. I really don't like when my human picks the cat up as I would prefer all the attention for myself.

What I am good at:
I make my foster parents laugh!
I am house trained.
I don’t bark! I do whine a little occasionally, but I am getting much better. I no longer cry when I am left alone at home and I just go to sleep in my bed.
I can become a bit mischievous if I am bored.
I can be left home while my human is at work. As I currently live in an apartment I have only been left alone for 4-5 hours at the time max! I may be ok all day at home with another dog and access to a garden (a very secure one)!
