Jett is a mature aged Kelpie looking for a quiet home to spend the rest of his days. He has come into care as he was impounded and not reclaimed by his previous owner.

He is a quiet and mellow boy that can be on the timid side with new people but will become your best friend once he has gained trust in you. Jett is house trained, crate trained and travels well in the car. He does not require an active home but rather a short occasional walk would suffice, he is happy to laze around in the yard.

He is social with other dogs and is currently on a small acreage property with other dogs, a toddler, a cat, chickens and horses without problem. In saying this, Jett would do best in a home without young children and with another quiet mature aged dog or no other dogs at all. He can find young dogs and bouncy toddlers overwhelming.

He has lacked socialisation and exposure so just needs a kind hand to help him through new situations and experiences, he has improved in leaps and bounds in a short period of time. Jett is eagerly looking for a home and family to bond with and call his own.
