About Winter
Winter is a beautiful girl looking for a special home. She came to us in a litter of very scared pups, since then she has been making progress and is understanding that humans aren’t all that bad. She loves playing with other dogs and is quite gentle, loves running round collecting toys too. Winter is still a little timid and will require a special person or persons to help her better understand that humans aren’t all bad. She is curious and investigative, loves any attention and her whole butt wags to prove it. Winter knows her name, sit, leave it she is also learning about the lead, come, heal and the car. She is still a little scared of doorways but once happy in her environment she is fine. She has been around older children and whilst timid will follow them round. She will need further training of course as still young. If you think yo might be able to offer this girl a new loving home, please fill in an application and chat to our team.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
