About Chief
Introducing our extraordinarily handsome boy Chief. We rescued him from the pound last week, he had been there since mid-September. Chief is estimated to be around 2 years of age and appears to be an American Staffordshire Terrier. He plays well and is not a rough or loud player, loves to sunbake but prefers to sleep in a tiled area, as he feels the heat.
Chief walks well on the lead but when tethered he will chew through a fabric lead in seconds! He is toilet trained and responds to "wee wees". Chief waits for his humans to go through doorways first, he sits, waits for "OK" before eating, and is learning to shake and stay.
Chief does seem to have some separation anxiety - he doesn't like to be left at home even with another doggo friend. He is happy to be left in the laundry in this situation. He will need good fences and some time to settle in and feel secure in his new home. Chief is alert to unfamiliar noises at home but is not fazed by new people when he is out and about.
This beautiful doggie is a cruisey, low energy boy. Loves car rides (with the window down), being inside with his humans and is learning to love carrot as his after dinner snack. If beautiful Chief is the one for you please message us.
