About "Mavro"
Mavro is super affectionate, loyal and loving. Mav came from a property where there were over 100 kelpies kept in pens outside, a lifestyle Mav is glad to leave behind. He has learnt that people can mean love, pats, cuddles and attention. He now loves being inside with his people, he is great with children, and other dogs. Mav can jump fences so you will need good fencing for when you are not home. Mav has shown when he feels safe and loved he wont jump even though he can, he is one super loyal boy and wont leave your side when you have gained his trust.Even though Mav is a young kelpie he is not super active, he enjoys a walk but then happy to be a couch potato next to you watching tv.
If you are looking for a loving, loyal, devoted family dog, Mavro is your man for sure. Please consider this boy and show him just how loving we people can be.

Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
