Decima is a sweet natured creature, she is small in stature, weighing a healthy 18kgs, she stands a handspan under my knee. She has a medium coat, shiny, black and beautiful to run your hands through, she really enjoys her daily massages. She is soft and gentle with me but does have a tendency to get overexcited and jumpy when she meets new people.

Decima adores children, she has grown up with young children through to teenagers. She was so happy to meet a two year old the other day that her whole body was wagging and she exuded happiness. Decima had not met cats until she came to me, she is non reactive to my cats. There are times when I have seen her licking them through the wire with her tail wagging happily.

Decima can be timid. If aggressed upon she doesn’t fight, she rolls into a ball, terrified. When you go to put her lead on it scares her; I give her good warning and say “ jewellery on” and reassure her. Although she goes into a drop position, she allows you to put the lead on and then she will happily get up and walk alongside you. Decima now knows and understands a lot of commands Up Down In Out Sit Leave Back Come Listen Ahh Ahh No. She is a reluctant sitter unless you have treats in your hand. She came to me badly infested with fleas, parts of her body were missing fur, particularly her rear and back; I completely understand why she sits reluctantly. I’m exceptionally proud to say this beautiful clean little girl has toilet trained herself with a bit of encouragement. Looking for a home that needs her love. Please APPLY / ENQUIRE using this link.
