About Satellite ~ Border Collie (on trial 25/11/2018)
Hello, my name is Satellite and I am a female tri/white Border Collie. I am 9 months old and due to my owner’s personal circumstances, I am looking for a new home.
I am an affectionate and loyal dog and I love to have a lot of exercise. Because, of course, I am a Border Collie and I am still very young! I love running in open spaces and playing fetch! I play with my toys inside the house and hang out with my owner.
I have always been an inside dog, so I wouldn’t like it if I became an outside dog. I do suffer from some anxiety, so I would be best suited to a home where someone is around most of the time. Plus, I am such a good companion!!
I am really, really smart (even if I do say so myself) and I have graduated from 2 puppy classes! I still like to learn though, so I need someone who can teach me new things through positive reinforcement as I don’t like to be talked to harshly or yelled at and I certainly don’t like to be punished in anyway. Using treats or toys are the best way to train me.
My Mum says I need a patient and loving home, one which you will understand that sometimes I get a bit scared or stressed.
My Mum would still like to get updates about me because she really does love me. She would still like to be in contact from time to time so I need someone to be ok if I still see my owner occasionally. You don’t have to adopt them too though!
I get scared around young children so a home without young children is best for me.
If you think you can give me an awesome home, contact Eve on emckenzie77@yahoo.com.au or fill out an adoption questionnaire via https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
I am desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and my adoption fee is $400. I am currently located in Port Stephens and I am only available for local area adoption only to the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie and Hunter Regions only.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
