Tawny

This little lady is Tawny! Tawny has been surrendered to the shelter to find a more suitable home. She has been described by her previous family as a lap cat with a beautiful temperament, who seeks out attention on her terms. Tawny is used to being an indoor and outdoor cat, but some issues have arisen from this arrangement. Tawny has a strong hunting instinct (as cats do), has no fear and hunts all sorts of animals, snakes included. This creates a risk for Tawny as well as our wildlife. We are hoping to find a home for this lady that is safer for both parties, which means no more living on a property (sorry Tawny)! A cat run would be a fantastic option, or a family who are very vigilant about monitoring her outdoor activity as we don't think its fair to deprive her of the outdoor world completely, and she may not cope with an indoor only lifestyle. Tawny has not lived with children before, but had a very good relationship with a dog in the past. If you think Tawny could be your new best friend, she would love to meet you!
