About Chip
Hi everyone! My name is Chip and I'm looking for my new family and forever home! I've just turned 5 and I'm a bit goofy but very loveable I think 😋 I love people of all ages and am very well behaved around children, my humans are adults but I have friends that are toddlers and primary school aged kids 😊 I love my four legged friends too! I play nicely with others but sometimes prefer to snooze and might ignore more playful puppers, my friends at the moment are a male Border Collie and a female Kelpie and we get along just fine. I haven't met any cats yet but I'm not too sure that I like them very much! I'm 100% powered by natural energy.... kisses and cuddles! I thrive off your attention and love and will always be happy to see you! For the last year I've been left on my own through the work day for around 6 hours at a time, I prefer it when you are home but as long as there's a good place to snooze and I've had a walk I'm content to wait for you to return. My human's we're a bit naughty and let me sleep on their bed but I understand the word no and will quite happily sleep on my own bed too but I do prefer to be indoors. I don't have any bad habits, I like to hide my toys and my humans taught me to bark on command but now I think I need to say thank you when you are giving me a treat or feeding me dinner! I had stairs at my last home and so zoomies were very very fun, like most greyhounds I'll have a burst of energy and then be tired again, but I like to make you laugh with my goofy play. I've got a lot of love to give and would love to meet you ❤❤❤
Adoption details
All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption.
They have been fostered for a minimum of 8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.
A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.
We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status. This is a wonderful experience, to watch it blossom in your own home with your guidance and love. An ideal way to make sure this is the perfect dog for you.
