About Hachi
Hachi | Male | Siberian Husky | 19 months
Located in Melbourne
Hachi is a stunning, well mannered boy that will melt your heart with his ice-blue eyes.
He is a gentle soul, a great family dog, affectionate and fantastic with kids.
Hachi needs a loving new home through no fault of his own. He has been loved and well cared for, but his owners can no longer give him the life he deserves due to their own personal illness. He has been a frequent visitor to the dog park and was a social butterfly there. He grew up with a young female Maremma but is now an only dog, he would love to find a home with another suitable sized female companion.
Hachi loves his walks and does pull at the beginning but settles well if you keep a good pace, he’ll relax and walk with you while sniffing around.
While he’s energetic, with exercise he’s very relaxed and chilled at home. Hachi is quite the talker, he doesn’t bark, but will use his woo-ey husky voice to interact with family members and dogs alike.
Hachi is toilet trained and is very accustomed to being an inside dog, day and night.
He knows his basic commands, such as sit and paw. Keep in mind, however, that he’s a husky and has ‘husky hearing’ although a treat reward tends to act as a miraculous hearing aid! Hachi would respond well and would benefit from further training in his new home.
If you’re looking for a fit, healthy, happy, affectionate, social and well behaved boy Hachi may be just the boy for you. He’s got lots of love and affection to give, is beautifully well-adjusted and mannered.
The usual husky rules apply, including no cats or pocket pets, 6 ft dig proof fencing
