About Charlie
Meet Charlie
Charlie loves people almost as much as she loves her tennis ball.
She may be a senior girl but has a high energy level and loves to chase her ball. Charlie is very smart and has learned to use a dog door, she is house trained and gets on well with other dogs. She loves older children especially if they love throwing the ball for her.
She may be a bit timid and wary of strangers to start with but warms up to you very quickly, especially if you'll throw a tennis ball for her to fetch! Charlie can sit, shake hands and drop. She is a lot of fun and has such a sweet nature. She will suit a family with children over 8 years old or without children.
She does like to be with her people so she will need someone who is home more often than not, and would love another dog to keep her company. She will suit someone who is only away from home 3-4 hours at most each day. Charlie is looking for a home without cats.
Could Charlie be the one for you?
**Application Process**
When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. This includes current/past pets and their breed, children, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. Please note all of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Campbellfield. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you.
