About Violet DL2026
Little lady Violet is an absolute treasure. If you want a dedicated, loyal and loving little companion, then Violet is the one for you. She is incredibly well behaved in the home, and will simply adore spending time around you whatever you are doing. She loves cuddles and belly rubs, and will follow you around to make sure you never feel alone!
She can get quite scared to be left alone for too long, so is only suited to someone who is home most of the time, and wants a little grunty bestie by their side! She grunts and snorts when excited, and sounds like a little piglet. These grunts are delightful, and she doesn’t grunt or snore too badly most of the time.
Violet simply loves children and is gentle and allows them to cuddle and fuss over her without too much bother. She is good on the lead, but needs a harness rather than a collar.
Unfortunately, Violet doesn’t get along too well with other dogs at this stage, but her foster carer believes that with some confidence training, and with reducing her anxieties in a loving forever home, Violet could learn to play nicely with other dogs.

Medical notes
Violet is in need of urgent surgery on her ear for haematomas. All vet costs are covered by the rescue while in foster care.

ADOPTION:
1. Email DFLadoption@gmail.com to contact our Adoption Team & we will send you an expression of interest form to return
2. Successful applicants will then have a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer, along with a volunteer home visit & fence check, before beginning a trial period with the dog to ensure a great match for all involved.
DFL dogs are vaccinated, micro chipped & desexed prior to adoption (or at 6 months as a condition of adoption).
FOSTER:
If a dog is listed as "Foster Carer Needed", they are looking for a temporary home in Perth metro while their vet work is completed and while they wait for their forever home. They may also be fostered with the view to adoption. Please email us for more information.

2. Foster care applicants will then have a volunteer home visit & fence check, and a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer/rescue representative, before commencing foster care.
