Pretty little Winnie!

Winnie is still very much a puppy, she always wants to play whether it's with a two legged or four legged friend! She's super affectionate and will give cuddles and kisses to anyone who pauses to give her a pat, she's been known to charm restaurant staff into giving her treats and cuddles wherever she goes!

She wants to be as close as possible to her person and will wiggle her way onto your lap and bed if you let her! She's clever and has learned a few commands in a really short time. She's toilet trained and will only go when she's certain that it's a place she's allowed to go. She loves chasing birds, and hasn't quite figured out they can fly and she can't. She loves other dogs, although like many young dogs she hasn't yet realized that her size and strength may knock them over if they're older or smaller so some continued socialisation with different dogs would be great for her. She is completely un-fazed by cats :)

Winnie doesn't like being completely on her own but has gotten better at understanding her people will come back. She's gets very excited to see them and needs to be taught calmness on their return so that 'being alone' and 'humans come home' are similar and not so drastically different to her - one terribly scary, one really exciting. Practicing leaving and coming home for short periods, and keeping her calm and controlled at both times will help ease her fear of being alone. A doggy pal is also a fantastic way for her to learn humans leaving doesn't mean the end of the world :)
