About Frankie
Frankie is a 2 year old brown Kelpie country boy. He is a timid, quiet, affectionate little guy who rarely barks, so neighbours like him! He is a very small, weighing only about 10.5kg so he can be carried if need be! If he could talk, he would mostly say “pat me…love me”
He is house-trained, but needs supervision as he will get into things. During the day he is either outside in the kennel / yard or inside for a while. He is happy to sleep in a warm kennel or in a crate inside the house. Frankie knows or learning the following commands: “Off”, “Outside”, “In Your Bed”, “Sit”.
Frankie has lived with a 10 y.o. boy and has had visits from a 3yo niece, so is good with kids 3 and up so far.
Frankie was adopted a few months ago but unfortunately he and the other dog are fighting. It would be best if Frankie could go to a home with no other dogs. Initially Frankie and the other dog got along well, then Frankie started showing lead aggression out on walks and now the fighting between the two dogs has started.
Can anyone help this little stunner of a boy who needs some guidance?

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
