About Maggie
**AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN FOSTER CARE, MEET MAGGIE THROUGH APPOINTMENT ONLY**
Maggie is a beautiful girl who has had a rough start to life, at only 2yrs old she was left under a house with a severe case of mange, skinny and terrified of the world, she was taken into foster care where she has been for the last 6 months.
Maggie is a very special girl who bonds fiercely with her owner, she loves nothing more than to cuddle up on the lounge/bed with her human but being so bonded to her owner she is NOT able to go to a home with any other animals as she gradually becomes very jealous and doesn’t like to share, although she absolutely loves other dogs so a home that will let her socialise and play with other dogs outside of the home would be perfect for maggie. She will require daily walks just seeing her harness makes her do cartwheels from excitement, the beach is her favourite place to be and once she is bonded to you will stick by your side when off leash.
Maggie is house trained and must be aloud both inside and outside, she loves to munch on things so leaving her outside with lots of toys/kongs/bones and things she can chew will keep her out of mischief. She can sit and shake on command, loving her food makes training her easy. She LOVES toys also.
Maggie cannot go to a home with any young children as she has triggers due to her traumatic past that a young child would not understand.
She is very responsive to her name and will listen if told to go outside or to get into her bed.
Maggie needs a special home with someone who has the love and patience to understand what this poor girl has been through in such a short amount of time.
Photos to come.
Medical notes
Maggie has fully recovered from a severe case of mange.
And recently recovered from having 2 patella surgeries.
