About Milly
Milly is the sweetest little miss with the biggest heart.
She wants nothing more than to be loved and be patted.
She loves kids, big and small (she has been tested with a 2, 9 and 13 year old) and is quite patient with them. She is also good with dogs big and small (Milly is currently living with 3 other dogs). She has not been tested with cats.
She is great inside and will sleep throughout the night (on our bed or hers) and will go to the door to let you know she needs to go out. She is also fine to be left at home on her own (in or out) and is happy to just wait until you return. She is not destructive but will play with her toys.
She is very smart and is already conquering sit and recall.
We are estimating her to grow to a large med dog
She walks well, is great in the car and enjoys the dog park but can be overwhelmed if the big dogs get too pushy with her.
She would suit a family with a small dog or an older, bigger dog as she doesn’t like being pestered by overly playful dogs and will let them know if she’s had enough.
She would also be suitable for a family with children, an elderly couple who can shower her with love, or someone who works from home (or can) as she enjoys the companionship and frequent interaction.
Our rescue policy is not to adopt to same sex homes so if you already have a famale dog please do not apply for this baby girl
Milly is still a baby so she is still finding her way. She needs an owner who uses positive reinforcement as she can be timid, but responses really well to praise and treats. Overall she is a happy friendly, easy dog and No what though, her tail is always wagging. She will make the ideal companion because she is so sweet, will to learn and just wants to love everyone!
