Zeke

Zeke is a beautiful Australian Cattle Dog cross, approximately two years old.

He is a soft natured boy with a great temperament. On his list of top three things in the world is 1. Cuddles, 2. Love, 3. Kisses.

Zeke is currently in foster care with several other dogs of various ages and sizes, and he gets along with all of them fantastically. He isn't overly active, but does enjoy a play and a walk. As with most dogs, he would love to attend obedience classes with his new family, to build on his bond with his people, and learn a few neat tricks. That being sad, he already walks beautifully on the lead, and is quickly getting the hang of sit!

Zeke can be a little shy with adults to begin with, but quickly warms up when he realises you'll give him all the cuddles and affection he craves. He loves kids (they give good pats!), but not suited to a home with cats or livestock/horses. Zeke is very timid with new people and new situations, and very wary of men. These issues can be addressed with training and unconditional love.

He would do well in a home where he is incorporated in to the daily lives of his family. He needs a safe secure home, preferably one where he is not left alone for long periods without human company. Zeke loves water and makes a great companion.
