Look who’s just come into care!

Lovely little Betty was surrendered because her owners, who’d had her from 8 weeks of age, have had to give up their house and yard to move into a motel situation for work reasons and have nowhere suitable to keep Betty.

Betty hasn’t had a lot of socialisation with other dogs and was initially afraid of Xena the boarding Labrador (for a full five minutes!), then had an absolute ball, chasing Xena and being chased, in and out of the water, round the pool, one way then the other.

Betty has been living indoors and is trained to toilet on newspaper. She sits when asked, walks quite well on a leash and loves the car.

Betty will need a home where she will have the opportunity for lots of exercise, perhaps near the beach, lake or river or near off leash dog parks. She would make an ideal jogging companion and would be great at obedience or similar.

If her new family are at work a lot, Betty would benefit from the company of another active dog.

We try to make the adoption process as simple as possible. Because we are located in Moree, NSW, you are not required to come and meet your new pet before adoption.

Moree has flights to Sydney and dog road transport passes through on a fortnightly basis.
