About Jess (on trial adoption)
This is JESS the dearest little 8 yro staffy who loves, and wants to be friends with, everyone she meets. Jess is an easy care dog, she's toilet trained and well behaved in the home, doesn't chew things or bark and always welcomes you with the biggest happiest smile when you come home.
Jess knows her basic commands, loves her food, will sit to eat and can walk on leash. She's happy to go for a brisk walk with you, play fetch with her tennis ball or just potter quietly around the garden with you. In the evening she will curl up at your feet whilst you read or watch TV. Jess also loves going to Bunnings, sitting up in a trolley greeting everyone and wagging her tail.
Jess ended up in the pound after her owner died. Following rescue she had an enormous cyst removed from her back together with a couple of other lumps and bumps. She has recovered so well, her coat is starting to grow back and she has been given the all clear from our vet to now find her furever home. Jess weighs around 17 - 18 kg.
Jess would like to be an only dog. She doesn't like sharing a home with other dogs, but appears to be fine when she meets other dogs when she is out and about on her walks.
If you would like more information about Jess please contact us and we will put you in touch with her foster carer. She is in care on Sydney's Lower North Shore. All our dogs have a 2 week trial period in their new home.
