About Bobby
Bobby here, a distinguished older gentleman looking for an adventure, some attention and lots of love.
I'm not a complicated boy, but I do have a few things I'd like to ask my new family to have before they decide to adopt me.
I would need to be an indoors doggie, I do best knowing the safety of inside a home, and haven't shown to cope too well being left outside alone during the day. I have good manners in the house, and don't toilet inside, and haven't shown to destroy anything in the home when left to my own devices.
My new home will need safe and secure fencing for the times I have to go outside, for say the toilet. Free from gaps and holes is essential for my safety.
I may be suited to rural fencing if my family are home more often than not and I'm not left to wander at my own time.
I am social with other dogs of a variety of ages and sizes, and have shown my foster family that I would make a wonderful companion for another canine. I'm not fussed on male or female doggies, but I will say that in my older age I am looking more for companionship rather than a solid play mate.
I have met some of the felines in care also and didn't take too much notice to them, so I could be compatible to live with one or some but you'd have to chat to my foster family about these to make sure our personalities fit together.
I'd suit a home where someone is home more often than not, or someone who can take me to work with them. Maybe even someone who is retired and is looking for a spiffy dog for companionship and exercise. I love going out and about, I am very social with all people I meet and I LOVE the car.
I LOVE kids of all ages, I want them to know I am there looking at them and I LOVE a cuddle. So I would easily suit a home with kids.
I am ready to find my new home now, and I am located in the Lower Hunter Valley NSW. I am NOT suitable for interstate adoption, however adoption to ACT is accepted. My adoption fee is $350.
Medical notes
A lump has been removed from the inside of his back leg, this is currently being processed for testing to determine the type, dangers and outcome.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
