About Pixie
Small/ Medium sized female greyhound
Cat Friendly
Part time/ Full time workers
Good with medium/large dogs.
Pixie is a smallish, beautiful black girl with a splash of white on her chest. She is a quiet girl that likes nothing better than to be tucked up in her bed. At the moment at her foster home she has a lovely friend and bed partner, called Pickles who is teaching her the ways of how good pet life is. She adores him as him her, and if he is asleep before her, she will tip toe around him and gently nestles beside him. What a beautiful picture that paints.
Pixie is adjusting to her new life and learning how much fun it is to play, with toys and with other dogs. She quite likes the other greyhounds at her foster home, who she gets along with fine, but in saying this she is quite happy with her own company and doesn't seem to rely on them for company. Pixie also likes children, around 8 years and up would be the best as Pixie likes her time asleep and chilling out.
She walks well on a loose lead and enjoys going for a walk as well as a trip in the car which she has no issues with. She is very compliant and you wouldn't know she is around she is that easygoing, and a little shy at this stage but with a kind and gentle hand Pixie will blossom even more into the greyhound of your dreams.
Pixie would be fine with full time workers as well as part time workers, sleeping the day away, and being there happy to be with you when you are home. Day by day, Pixie is becoming more at ease with her surroundings and loves being praised and patted. Lots of love and care will see her become your best friend and return your love 10 fold.
This sweet angel is just the loveliest of girls and will become a special member in your family and especially if she can have a kitty to befriend and have as her new buddy too.
Medical notes
Pixie has a Grade 1 Heart murmur, does not require medication.
