About Narla ~ Catahoula x (on trial 3/12/18)
Introducing Narla, a unique and pretty 18 month old Catahoula mix. She is a largish dog but quite fine in her features, which match her sweet, loving nature. At first Narla can be a little shy and timid, but given time, space and a kind, loving hand she will become your shadow, following you around and sitting by your side.
Narla is great with other dogs and loves to play. She is currently sharing a home with three other four-legged friends; a puppy, a little one and a medium one and one of her favourite things to do is run around playing with them; so, with a successful meet and greet, Narla could easily be a part of a family with another friendly dog. She is full of energy and enjoys going for walks and runs as well as playing fetch or with whatever toys are around. Once Narla is all worn out, she is quite akin to snuggling up with her humans and/or doggy pals for a rest and be sure to give her a cuddle; another fav of hers.
Narla currently sleeps on her bed alongside her four-legged sisters at night and has free run of the backyard during the day.
Narla’s new family will need to be dedicated and committed to some training and it doesn’t necessarily mean that she needs a trainer, unless it’s preferred. It’s about spending time with her to show her the ropes and teach her new boundaries to ensure that she will smoothly transition into her new life knowing that she is loved and safe.
An active family or couple would be suited to Narla and if all members of the household work full time, it will be beneficial for Narla to possibly have another doggy pal for company, but if family members are home more often than not, she will easily fit in as an only dog, but continued socialisation and doggy interaction is recommended. Due to her size and energy, we are suggesting that Narla is homed with children 12+ in age if she is to go to a family.
Narla is already microchipped, desexed and up to date with her vaccinations, so if you have room in your heart and life for Narla and have a safe and secure yard for her, please fill out the adoption questionnaire https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt and send it through to Olivia at horvat13@gmail.com
Narla is currently located between Cessnock (Hunter Valley) and Toronto (Lake Macquarie), NSW. Her adoption fee is $250 and she available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
