About Kiko
Take one look at this girl and you will fall deeply in love!
This little ball of fluffy cuteness is Kiko and she is an absolute delight in so many ways. She never misses an opportunity for a cuddle or a kiss and is right up on your lap as soon as she gets the ok. At home Kiko loves (and we mean LOVES) to play with her squeaky toys. She can entertain herself with her toys if you are busy, or will invite you for a game of fetch if you’re free and she has been practising bringing the toy back when you ask. Once play time is over you will find her snuggled up on the couch, and she’ll be particularly happy with it is with her humans.
Kiko is very smart and her training is progressing quickly. She knows sit and come, and is working on stay and drop. This girl is very food motivated which will make further training fun and rewarding. She is toilet trained in her foster home but is still progressing from puppy pads inside to always going outside so her new family must be prepared to establish some good routine and polish off this training. Kiko is happy to spend some time home alone, with lots of chew toys to occupy herself, but she still likes to have someone around more often than not to give her the attention that she deserves. Her beautiful fluffy coat will require some regular grooming to keep her looking her best.
During her time in care, she has enjoyed some regular play dates with doggy friends. She loves other dogs and can be very playful, though is sometimes a little too annoying for those dogs who are not as enthusiastic as she is about the game. When out and about on the lead, she can find some big dogs a little more intimidated until she is able to meet them and gain her confidence. Her leash skills are improving daily but could use some more work as she likes to stop and smell the roses! She would benefit from a family who are committed to continuing her training as she is still a young girl with more to learn. Kiko will need daily exercise as she is a moderately active dog even though she is small, and she should have regular play dates with other friendly dogs to allow her play time and to continue her socialisation.
We are looking for a dog experienced family who will make this gorgeous girl a much loved member of the family and include her in daily activities. She will require a home with another friendly and playful dog and/or where someone is home more often than not. She is a mostly an indoor dog who should be able to have access inside while you are out and will require a bed inside to sleep on at night. Kiko is suitable to a home with children as long as they are sensible with dogs and know how to be gentle.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
