About Rocky
Rocky is an enthusiastic boy who is full of life and always thinks the glass is half full! Rocky’s ideal home is an active family who will help teach him the basics in life so that in his exuberance he doesn’t knock the whole glass over! He can’t decide whether he loves treats or toys better which means training and exercising him should always be fun.
Contrary to what his name might suggest, Rocky is a lover not a fighter and would love to learn how to make a good first impression when meeting other dogs – that way they can get to the playing part already!
If you’re looking for a confident partner in crime who loves discovering new things, happily greets new people and can’t wait for the next great adventure then come in and meet Rocky!
Adoption details
The adoption process at the Companion Animal Facility is relatively easy. We ask that if you are interested in a animal, please attend our facility in Goulburn to meet the animal and the Ranger team so that we can make sure that the animal is the right match for you. We do not take expressions of interest over the phone or via email.
Once you have decided on which future pet you would like to adopt from the facility, all that is required by you is to make a payment at the Companion Animal Facility by either cash, cheque or eftpos, provide details for the microchip and registration paperwork and then pick up your future pet from the Council veterinary service provider once they have been de-sexed and vaccinated (Council staff will advise you when the animal is booked in at the veterinary clinic. This usually falls within 14 days of the purchase).
The following are the re-homing fees for dogs and cats,
Entire Dog - $265.00
De-sexed Dog (de-sexed by previous owner) - $165.00
Entire Cat - $185.00
De-sexed Cat (de-sexed by previous owner) - $115.00
The following is included with all sales,
Microchipping (identification details will be placed on the NSW Companion Animal Register)
Lifetime Registration (within NSW)
Vaccination
Worm Treatment
Vet Check
De-sexing (if required)
Please Note: All dogs and cats rescued from the Companion Animal Facility are required to be de-sexed. Dogs and cats will not be sold as entire under any circumstances.
Please Note: An animal listed on this page may already have had families express interest on the animal. Please contact us for further information.
