About Max
Max is a gorgeous, fluffy senior boy who turns 11 on 27 December this year. You wouldn’t know he was a senior boy though, the way he bounces around!
He gets on extremely well with other dogs and is currently in care with three small dogs with whom he loves to play.
He loves his snuggles and cuddles but is equally as happy to hang about outside by himself for a little while.
Max does suffer from anxiety occasionally, and would be better suited to an older couple who are home more often than not, or a family who has someone home regularly. He doesn’t like being left on his own when his humans go out for extended periods and is prone to attempting to escape if that happens. When he gets anxious or nervous he’ll dribble a bit and start panting, but when he calms down that disappears.
He’d also very much like the company of another small dog to run around with.
He needs to sleep in his bed in your bedroom as he doesn’t like being away from his people, even overnight inside the house. He will follow you everywhere (be prepared to be stalked!) because he just loves human company so much.
Unsure of how he is with cats or small children, recommended that if his new family has children that they be older and not boisterous.
Max Does not shed fur so great for people with allergies. He will need a family willing to groom and brush him regularly though.
Max is very much an inside dog who needs a lot of love, and will give a lot of love in return. He’s a true little darling and his foster parents will miss him terribly.
