About Clover
Hi, I am Clover and I am a lover of all humans and dogs. I have not a mean bone in my body and I love nothing better than making new friends. However, if the dog barks at me I do get scared and prefer not to meet them. I get excited when its time to go walks, I walk well on the Halti but still try and pull, so I probably need to perfect my lead manners a bit more! However my foster Dad manages just fine walking me and my big foster brother.
Being a typical Dane, I love my people so can whine a bit when the humans leave me. However I am learning to be comfortable playing with my foster brother when my foster Dad goes to work. I am not your average destructive teenager Dane, because I am receiving lots of exercise, training and playing with my foster brother, I don't have time to chew things. My ideal home will understand the importance of both physical and mental enrichment.
I am fine behind 4 foot fencing and never tried to escape, however if I was on my own within furry friend that could change. I am happy to sleep on the couch of a night but as soon as I hear my foster Dads alarm go off, I know that time for morning cuddles so I can smother him and secretly hope he decides not to go to work and stay with me all day!
I have never met cats, but I guess for the right home, if they could keep them strictly separated and do gradual introductions I could learn to befriend one. As for kids, they are cool, but I prefer the older ones.
My ideal home would be with a male doggy companion as I think I would fret without a companion. I would like someone who can dedicate time to taking me for walks and invest in further training to ensure I grow up to be a well mannered girl.
