About Stevie D1017 on trial 11/12/18
Stevie has had one hell of a journey. Found hiding under a vehicle, skinny, skin and fur in a terrible condition due to untreated mites and a resulting infection; her owner never came forward to collect her. This beautiful girl looks better every day now she has received treatment and a good diet.
Stevie is a young pup. Despite her ordeal she is a cuddly and friendly girl who is good with other dogs and children she has met while out and about. She is learning her name and will sit, and take treats nicely. She is still young so has some puppy behaviours which you would expect, such as jumping up sometimes when she sees people after being left alone, and pulls when she sees another dog on walks, wanting to say hello - however she walks calmly on lead generally. Stevie is a quiet dog. She is house trained and loves to snuggle up with her carers - she certainly deserves the good life after her rocky start!
Stevie has gained a good amount of weight and loves her food, chewing on bones and treats. Her hair is growing back nicely and she shouldn't have any long term problems resulting from the patches; just regular flea treatments as you would with any dog.
Stevie would love a daily walk and a home where she will be cherished and loved.

Medical notes
Adoption fee includes vet check with flea and worm treatment, age appropriate vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership) and sterilisation. The fee does not include heartworm treatment.
Stevie came to us with a skin condition caused by untreated mites and secondary infection. This has been treated and she is doing great. There should be no ongoing treatment needed and Stevie should have no resulting problems. Dogs require monthly flea treatment and regular baths to minimise the risk of problems resulting from mites/fleas.
