Luna ~ Cattle X Mastiff (on trial 9/12/18)

Luna is a 13 week old Cattle dog X Mastiff with the best looking ears in town!

Luna will happily follow her brothers around and will do whatever they are doing. She loves nothing more than running around outside in the grass and sneaking off to jump in puddles. Luna is quite dependent on other doggy friends to be happy so Luna would be best suited to a home that has another dog for company. It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time.

Luna loves to show her affection by snuggling into you and giving you puppy kisses whenever you’re around and will happily cuddle you until she falls asleep. Luna happily follows you around as you hang out the washing or just walking around the house.

Luna also is obsessed with her rabbit friend and will happily watch him for as long as you’ll let her. She is quite gentle around others and would be well suited to a family that has children but will need to be trained to not knock them over in excitement as she gets older and bigger. She would be suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).

Luna is currently learning basic commands and has learnt to come when called and is working on her other commands. Luna is a quick learner and is picking up commands very easily. Luna would benefit by attending puppy training to keep on socializing and learning new skills.

Luna has shown no aggression when introduced to other dogs and is nervous at first but becomes quite excited to play with new dog friends once she watches them for a while. Once she starts playing, she will play until she flops and falls asleep on the spot.

As Luna is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
