About Wilson
Wilson is looking for a forever home where he will have another dog to play with and active owners who can keep up with his high energy. Having heeler in him, he will only grow more and more curious of the world, so he is looking for a family that is going to take him on adventures and provide him with mental stimulation too.
Wilson is very cuddly, slightly shy and plays well with other dogs. He will need another dog in his home to teach him all the important puppy things.
Wilson is already showing classic working breed behaviours such as rounding and nipping, so will need to start training young and attend obedience school throughout his adolescence to ensure they are controlled appropriately. Wilson is crate trained and will need to sleep inside with his family as he is used to in foster care, we highly recommend continuing his crate training into adulthood too.
ADOPTION PROCESS for Wilson: If successful, the puppies will be placed on 4 week trials. In that trial period adopters will have to commit to puppy school and ongoing training + vet care. Our preference is that they are placed with families that have another well socialised and friendly companion animal. It is a clause in the agreement that every Puppy will attend Puppy school as a part of the Adoption Process and the schools are selected by our trusted training and behaviour team and matched to the adopters location. We want the best for these puppies. Please ensure that you can make a big time and heart investment in a puppy before applying.
