Mateo

Mateo is a young working breed dog who needs a family wiling and excited about taking on the work that he will need.

Mateo can walk well on leash but he gets frustrated when he sees other dogs and doesn't know what to do so he barks and lunges at them. We have started to teach him to 'point them out' and then return his attention to us for a treat and he is doing well.

He is looking for a family where he can be the only dog and who are willing to train him or have a force-free trainer come to the house to show you what he needs. He is smart and wil require plenty of food puzzle toys and enrichment in top of his daily walks.
