About Lucy ~ Border Collie x Staffy (on trial 21/10/18)
Hi there! I’m Lucy, a sweet natured 2 year old Border Collie x Staffy who is looking for a new place to call my forever home! I’m looking for a new best friend or family to join and spend my time with, and I’m really hoping to not move around any more. My foster parents say my best traits are my gentle, snuggly nature and like that I’m very well behaved.
My favourite thing to do is chase a ball! You will be lucky to find me without it, even if I am asleep! I also enjoy going for long walks on the beach and having a good chin wag with other doggy pals who I can find. I usually run around all day with my foster sister but when my foster parents come home I like to snuggle with them on the couch and follow them around. The best thing is when they play with my ball too, I wish they would do it all day long!
I’ve come from another loving home, so my foster parents have been very impressed with my manners so far. I show off with come, sit, wait, and down. I do enjoy my morning walks, so I’d like to keep this up with you unless you have a paddock for me to exercise in. This is very important to me because I am very energetic!
If you work full time I would love to have a doggy friend who I could hang with while you are away so I don’t get lonely. The more often you are home, the better!
I’m used to being allowed inside when everyone’s home, but I happily play in the yard during the day. At the moment I usually sleep on my bed inside, but I have slept outside in the past which I didn’t mind.
I like all kinds of humans, big, small and very small. Because I don’t bark or jump or do anything naughty I really would suit many different types of homes. You can take me in the car, to the beach, to your friends houses, I will just love going on adventures with you.
Overall I am a wonderful, loyal companion who is very keen to find a place to settle down, and make a life with you.
