About Lotus
Ready to fall in love?
Meet Lotus – one look into her beautiful brown puppy dogs eyes and your heart will melt. This girl is such a loving pup who is friendly with everyone that she meets. On top of that, everyone that meets her loves her too! She is always up for a cuddle and a pat from her humans, and she can often be found curled up next to her foster family on the couch when its rest time. When it is not rest time she likes to play with toys and is always up for a good game of tug!
Lotus loves other dogs and has always lived with another doggy friend. While in care, she is living with two other playful dogs who she loves to chase and play with. Currently, Lotus is significantly overweight and is building up her exercise slowly. She is getting two smaller walks a day and playing with the others at home; however, as she loses the weight she is going to become more and more active. Eventually, we anticipate that she will be a relatively active dog who will need a good walk each day and she would love to go to the dog park regularly to play with other doggy friends too.
During her time in care, Lotus has been brushing up on her training. She can sit, shake hands and is fully house trained. Her carer has been working on her lead manners as she can be quite strong on lead, and this is improving with persistence and time but will need to be continued in her new home. Her new owners must be dedicated to continuing a strict diet for her to get back to a healthy weight even though the Labrador in her wants to eat all the time! She is currently around 40kg and needs to be down between 22-28kg so has a significant way to go.
We are looking for a home where Lotus will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities and outings. She will require a home with another playful and friendly dog to keep her company. Lotus should be allowed inside to be with the family and will require a warm comfy bed to sleep on inside at night and a nice yard to run around in with her new doggy friend during the day. She has lived with children and is good with them but does paw for attention so is better suited to older or more dog savvy children. Whoever gets to take this beautiful and loving girl home will be extremely lucky.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
