Bambi

Bambi is a female, who is around four and a half years old and she is a Boxer x Bulldog. She was rescued from Albury pound and appeared to have been neglected and was under weight and timid girl.

She has been in foster care for 5 months and has come a very long way in that time. With lots of food, love and walks every day, she has evolved into a confident, gentle and loving girl who has come out of her shell and loves life.

Bambi is happy to sleep all day without attention (has been home by herself) as long as you walk her and play when you get home. She is excellent on the lead and happy to walk every night and has long walks on the weekend. She is great in the car and generally sleeps after about 20mins into a trip. She has not been around other dogs much but generally well behaved just curious if other dogs around.

She has been around cats and they don’t bother her or raise any interest for her. Bambi sleeps in the laundry at night with her foster carer but is very well behaved and could live inside very easily at her forever home. She is house trained and will sleep all day if you let her.

She very rarely barks and does not dig or chew (except for her toys) – she does like to move her bedding around but doesn’t chew it.

Bambi is good around kids and always try to play with them is she sees them on her walk.
She would be suited to a young family who will show her lots of love or even an older family/couple that want a low maintenance dog that they can enjoy.
