About Princess
Beautiful Princess is looking for a special foster home.
Considering Princess' age, current weight and health, she is looking for a foster home where she can spend her days being loved, adored and pampered while also being offered a weight loss plan.
Princess loves her food and her 'curvy' figure is evidence that she has never gone without.
Princess is an absolute sweetheart. She is friendly with everyone, children and adults and will happily accept all the company you have to offer her.
In her previous home, Princess was loved and adored and has always been taken care of. It is with much regret that they have had to ask for assistance in finding a special new place for Princess to spend her days.
Although she has a serious heart murmur, she is not showing any signs of deterioration at this stage and we expect she still has lots of happy times ahead of her.
A home with a small yard would be great for Princess to have some time outside to enjoy the sights and smells of her new home.
Princess is quite lazy which is a combination of her health and her excessive weight. A home where she will be offered a healthy diet and a few small walks each day will be good for her to receive small amounts of exercise but nothing too strenuous. She is good on lead and enjoys small outings. A healthy diet, the occasional stroll and then a comfortable bed to relax in will make her very happy.
Please read Princess' medical notes below. We have disclosed all of the information we have been given by Princess' previous owner.
Princess will only be suitable to a home as an indoor dog, especially with the warmer weather approaching. Due to her health, she will not cope being outdoors for long periods of time and enjoys the comforts of a soft bed inside with her special people.
Princess has a thick coat so regular grooming will be required to keep her feeling and looking her best, especially during the hotter months. She is not overly keen on being groomed or having her nails clipped but will reluctantly tolerate these things.
Princess has been living with other small, calm dogs and enjoys their company. If there was to be another dog in her home, the best match would be a quiet, senior boy who enjoys company but is also happy to chill. Another dog is not a necessity for Princess but a home where her humans will be around majority of the time will be very important.
She will be very well suited to an older person who is looking for love and company throughout the day.

Please contact us if you have any questions about this adorable girl.
Only a suitable foster home that can meet Princess' needs will be considered.
Currently in care in Ballarat, Victoria. Princess enjoys her car rides but considering her health, we would prefer to find her a foster home that will only require a short amount of travel.
Medical notes
Princess has been diagnosed with a Grade 5/6 heart murmur. She is on medication (twice daily) and at this stage is showing no signs of serious illness.
Life expectancy for this condition is 9-14 years of age. It is impossible to predict but at this stage there is no obvious reason why Princess would not still have some happy times ahead of her.
Princess recently has some teeth removed. This does not cause any eating difficulties for her.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
