About Don
Don has blossomed in foster care from a dog that would hide to a confident dog who loves affection. Oh so cuddly and happy to lie at your feet or next to your bed. He just wants a human to call his own.
He was rescued in a very remote part of the NT where he spent several years in foster care. Now he has come to Sydney to find his forever home.
Don has quickly learnt to walk gently on lead and has an excellent recall when off lead. He will go for a quick run and is then back in a flash to be by your side.
He responds well to praise and food, he wants to please.
Don does not need excessive exercise and may suit living in an apartment.
He is a medium-sized dog with a glorious low maintenance coat and was born without a tail. As with all the dogs we rehome we have no idea of his breed and estimate he is 4-5yrs old.
He is social with other dogs but does not need another dog for company.
When introduced to a couple of cats he showed no interest, only in their food, so maybe ok living with cats.
He has spent time with older children but not with young children. However, with the right supervision, he may be fine with children.
Don flew from Alice Springs to Sydney with and is in foster care in Kingsford near UNSW.
