About Ollie
Racing name: Blitzem Ollie (never actually raced)
Whelped: Dec 2015
Sex: male
Colour: black
Weight: ~32kg
Cat tolerant: maybe
Available: October
Ollie is a young energetic dog who was initially meek & shy when he first came into the program. Since then he has come out of his shell & is now showing off how sweet, cuddly, friendly but also playful and naughty he can be (at times). He is happily going through a second puppyhood. He loves to play with his basket full of toys but does not always recognise what is his, so if you’re missing some household items we suggest you check out his bedJ
The more cuddles, massages & grooming the better as far as Ollie is concerned and with his thick teddy bear fur and puppy eyes you can’t help but fall for him.
He is a large but very social dog who likes to be around people most of the day. His daily walk of 20 minutes is pleasant, with Ollie being very gentle on the leash: no pulling, greets other dogs, people on the street as well as visitors at home in a friendly manner.
He eats his food gently, is not protective and loves his pigs ears & marrow bones. Ollie enjoys a moderate sized garden to make his daily zoomies. Even though he adapts quickly and is eager to learn, car rides can make him a bit nervous and this is being worked on. Ollie is currently in a foster home with two other Greyhounds & a bossy cat – he would suit a home with a confident, indoor only cat. With families we would recommend gentle children over 7 years of age.
Ollie is sponsored by Ellen Moon and her Ollie.
All our foster dogs are protected from fleas & ticks with NexGard®, kindly donated by Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health.
