About Mack
Meet Mack! Mack is a deaf one year old red heeler cross.
He is a huge snuggler, loves nothing more than a smooch and cuddle on the couch.
Mack has learnt some hand signals, he can come, sit, shake and wait for his dinner and has good eye contact.
Mack loves going on adventures and walks. He has lovely leash manners and would rather heel and walk next to you.
He loves other dogs and is very enthusiastic to greet them and include himself but as he is deaf he is slower to pick up on social queues and skills so a mate of similar size, who is patient and happy to be his ears would be better suited as his companion dog.
Mack loves meeting new people and is very friendly. He is still young and can get excited so if you are a family with kids, 10 years and up would be best.
He is currently living with two other dogs, (another deaf cattle dog), three cats and gets along with everyone. He is house and crate trained and also attends doggie daycare.
Mack is very sweet and just wants to be with you, he has so much potential and just needs to find his perfect forever person/s.
Please note: Mack is deaf so will need an owner who has either had experience with deaf dogs or will engage a trainer with experience with deaf dogs.
Medical notes
Mack is deaf
